SkyWater is hiring a Procurement Specialist Staff for our site in Bloomington, MN.
Responsibilities:
Negotiate price, delivery and payment terms on a wide variety of purchased products and services
PO Placement and follow-up
Manage vendors and relationships
Expedite POs as needed
PO closeout
Work as a liaison between internal customers and external vendors for PO placement, product inquiries and delivery
Coordinates and collaborates with key internal stakeholders such as legal, contracts, finance, program management, engineering, and quality
Identify supply disruptions and define solutions to minimize business impact
Assist with internal and external audits
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors’ degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration or related field and 4 years of experience in Contracts, Subcontracts, Procurement and/or Supplier Management.
Demonstrated experience in a Procurement role managing vendors and relationships
Prior experience negotiation and influencing others
Knowledge of supply chain management techniques and industry best practices.
Experienced with project management and managing multiple complex projects.
Proficient with MS Office suite.
Superior customer service and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and strong time management / organizational skills.
Experience using NetSuite a plus.
