What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Information System Analyst position at SkyWater Technology?
The HRIS Analyst is responsible for managing SkyWater’s HR systems to drive compliant, efficient, and people-focused processes, and deliver people insights which enable decision making. This role serves as a subject matter expert and implements process improvements to drive standardization and process excellence across the HR organization. This person will lead skill development for all internal stakeholders through learning resource development and knowledge consulting.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with key stakeholders to understand organization needs to develop and maintain a HR Technology roadmap which delivers strong people insights and a customer-focused experience.
- Systems Administration:
- Manage and configure SkyWater’s HR systems, including the Dayforce HCM system, reporting tools and additional systems as required.
- Test, implement, and drive change management for system updates/releases.
- Lead technical interfaces with internal and external partners.
- Develop and maintain a strong relationship with SkyWater’s external technology partners, bringing forward innovation and process improvement. Manage external vendor relationships, including budgeting and contracts.
- Reporting and Analytics:
- Establish standard people reporting, including key metrics and the operating cadence. Analyze data to identify trends and bring forward insights.
- Develop custom, ad-hoc reporting as appropriate.
- Serve as an expert for SkyWater’s employee data. Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the data within SkyWater’s systems. Develop and execute data changes which facilitate reporting.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Provide user day to day support to drive system engagement and consistency through one-to-one engagement, and training and reference resources.
- Serves as the HR department’s liaison to the IT department.
Required Qualifications:
- Education. Bachelor’s degree in Data, Human Resources, IT or related field
- 5 years applicable experience supporting Human Resources organizations
- Experience in architecture, configuration and management of a human capital management system, Dayforce strongly preferred
- Strong analytical skills, experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI, Tableau)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, expert in Microsoft Excel
- Strong stakeholder management skills including effective communication skills
- Strong project management skills

The annual salary range for this role is $89,040 - $133,560. Pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, the job-related experience, skills, education, and credentials of each candidate.
