We are seeking an experienced CNC Operators to join our team at our Platteville, WI. location. The CNC Operator is responsible for responsible for performing all aspects of production machining required to produce quality products at an acceptable level.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for performing all the following job requirements of a machine operator which encompasses: SPC charting as required, gage usage, proper tagging of discrepant material along with basic work practices.
- Must complete SPC and work instructions pertaining to manufacturing at the time measurements are taken.
- Proper completion of all tagging requirements, i.e. discrepant material, in process material, and finished product as specified.
- Proper care and maintenance of the tools and gaging provided.
- Trained operators must produce at a minimum of 80% efficiency. Operators that fall below that expectation may be subject to discipline up to and including dismissal.
- All material must meet or exceed the quality requirements as specified on your work instructions.
- Machine cleanliness, inside and out. Please leave the area as you would have wanted it left for you.
- Completing the production control charts daily. Must ensure that the information is accurate and timely.
- Complete the job tickets / bar code tracking daily with job number and quantity produced.
- Do not leave your assigned equipment running without your presence unless you have supervisor approval.
- Responsible for adhering to company safety and health policies.
- Support Compliance with Skyway Precision, Inc.’s Quality policies and procedures (IATF16949 & ISO 14001).
- Follow general safety rules, procedures, and regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness & good housekeeping of assigned work areas and machines.
- Perform special assignments as delegated.
EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Minimum 1 year experience in Manufacturing
High School Diploma or equivalent
