As a SkyWest Ramp Supervisor, you will be given the opportunity to lead by example, set a positive work atmosphere for your department, and promote our guiding principles.

This is a full-time position and will start right a way.
Work closely with other supervisors to maintain a consistent standard and environment for our employees- Develop, supervise, and oversee ramp agents
- Provide direction, guidance, and positive motivation for all station personnel
- Ensure compliance with all SkyWest operating standards and procedures
- Constantly promote TEAMWORK to achieve station goals
- Attend company training classes
- Conduct briefings and meetings with station personnel
- Be at least 18 years old
- Possess a valid unrestricted state-issued driver’s license
- Have a High School Diploma or GED
- Position-specific clearances include but are not limited to FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs clearances required
- Able to pass a pre-placement background check and drug screen
- Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Possess excellent communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrate strong people and employee-relation skills
- Self-motivated / goal-oriented
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to lift heavy bags in excess of 50 pounds, with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Able to work outdoors in all temperatures and weather conditions
- Be in good standing with the company
- Thorough understanding of ramp procedures
- Required knowledge and understanding of SkyWest Airlines’ policies and procedures
- Familiar with partner dedicated computer system
- $16 an hour, plus an $8.50 to $9 supervisor override, depending on years of service with SkyWest Airlines
- Additionally, full-time supervisors will receive a monthly station allowance of $750
