Description

Job purpose

SkyWheel Attractions is seeking a dependable, team-oriented individual with high energy and a passion for delivering excellent guest service. The Marketing Manager will coordinate and develop marketing policies, programs, and campaigns. The Marketing Manager is responsible for driving customer engagement while leveraging branding and cultivating brand voice, content, social platforms, publicity, and PR. This position will represent SkyWheel Attractions in the marketplace, acting as a brand ambassador. Position will require travel to SkyWheel Attractions locations.

Duties and responsibilities
Includes, but not limited to:


• Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
• Manage and develop overall marketing budgets, ensuring delivery of budget targets
• Analyzes and evaluates financial aspects of marketing promotions and marketing strategy.
• Collaborates and executes the development of new packages, promotions, and marketing plan.
• Oversees SkyWheel Attraction’s website strategy, content and development.
• Develops and drives a full external media relations strategy. Builds and maintains relationships with key media contacts.
• Oversees and guides the strategy and development of creative.
• Create the strategy and oversee the development of a wide variety of communications materials to external audiences that could include CRM, press releases, internal marketing communications, corporate position statements, corporate materials, and presentations.
• Manages the development of paid social media strategies.
• Manages third-party marketing services.
• Negotiates contracts for services needed to execute a marketing strategy.
• Collaborates, participates in, and coordinates promotional activities or trade shows.
• Oversees development of organic social media strategies.
• Oversees and collaborates in the development of events.
• Develop and manage brand crisis response.
• Represent SkyWheel in community affairs and industry-related events
• Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
• Act as company spokesperson.
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications


Qualifications include but are not limited to:

  • • Proven attention to detail and follow-through with excellent organizational skills for keeping detailed records, reports and logs
    • Strong understanding of the outside sales process, prospect development, closing, and account servicing
    • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
    • Ability to create, implement, and monitor budgets.
    • Effective at working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
    • Thorough understanding of principles and methods used to promote, display, and sell products and services.
    • Ability to interact with a wide variety of individuals in a professional manner
    • Ability to multitask efficiently
    • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications
    • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language
    • Must be able to work professionally and coordinate with all levels of the SkyWheel team, vendors and on-site venue partners
    • Must have a valid driver’s license and complete acceptable pre-employment drug screening and background check
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred, but not required
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in related field is preferred, but not required
