Our corporate office in Buffalo, NY is looking for a Tax Accountant.
The Tax Accountant will:
- Oversee tax compliance for the company.
- Assist with various corporate consolidation activities including reporting and data validation.
- Calculate sale and use taxes for 52 jurisdictions throughout the US.
- Ensure the company is compliant with Federal and State laws guidance.
- Represent the Company before tax governing bodies (IRS and state).
- Ensure timely filing of muti-state tax returns
Qualifications for the Position:
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting
- CPA Preferred
- 2-4 years tax accounting experience
- Income tax preparation experience
- Strong communication (both written and verbal) and analytical skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
Pay depends on experience.
