* Lead strategic initiatives related to capacity expansions and unit cost reduction
* Solve complex problems where development of new solutions, methods and systems will result in a major impact on multiple departments' overall success
* Perform gap analysis for unit cost reduction and drive activities to improve and achieve best in class unit cost
* Work with development team and the business units in ensuring new technology roadmap aligns with manufacturing capability
* Manage large scale budgets associated with strategic initiatives ensuring cost KPI's committed to the executive team are met
* Prepare executive level communications with the cadence required to convey milestones and challenges in a concise manner
* Partner with leadership team and finance to create financial forecasts and budgets as well as develop the initiatives that will execute on the unit economics to drive profitability.
* Work with technology teams to understand wafer cost of all newly proposed technology
* Work with global suppliers and lead them to ensure Skyworks executes to an optimized global goal
* Work closely with the facilities organization to drive floor space density programs across the wafer fabs
* Ability to lead contractors to meet committed tasks and budgets through program and resource management excellence
* Organize and lead meetings or presentations to explain, negotiate or persuade.
* Plan and organize projects that cross organizations lines and lead those projects to a successful conclusion.
* Assist in completion of mean time to detect (MTTD) strategy across all the wafer factories
* Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing discipline.
* Preferably an advanced degree such as MBA, MS. in Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
* Minimum of 15 years overall Engineering or Manufacturing experience. Preferably in a high-volume semiconductor environment.
* Minimum of 8 years' experience managing and leading projects and programs in a manufacturing environment.
* Excellent leadership and interaction skills.
* Self-starter. Makes independent decisions and uses excellent judgment and effective problem solving methods.
* Able to influence individuals to achieve win/win resolutions.
* Ability to gather relevant information systematically, seek input from others, use accurate logic in problem analysis, and make sound decisions.
* Previous experience with demonstrated ability in the following areas:
o Providing direction and defining priorities for a work group
o Obtaining and coordinating resources
* Leading cross functional teams.
* Program and project management qualifications and expertise
* Ability to see the big picture and plan strategically to take the organization to the next level.
* This position could require up to 25% travel both domestic and international
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Knowledge of Industrial Engineering and project management concepts, practices, and procedures
* Knowledge of process improvement concepts and practices
* Proven track record of driving projects to reduce unit cost
* Ability to create and support key performance indicators for projects or programs that are assigned

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD$163,800 -$324,900per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others. Employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan, and certain roles are also eligible for additional awards, including recognition and stock. These incentives and awards are based on individual and/or company performance.
