Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Field Applications Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative organization. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, possess strong leadership skills, and demonstrate a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. The position will report to the Director of Fields Applications for the Americas.
Location : Role is based in the Eastern US. Skyworks has a office in Woburn, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Territory / Product Coverage : Responsibility for Skyworks full broad market product portfolio (RF, Timing and Power Isolation), and customers in the Eastern US region.
- Customer Problem Solving : Collaborate with sales counterparts and the engineering team to understand customer requirements, provide technical expertise, and develop solutions to meet customer needs.
- Relationship Management : Cultivate strong relationships with key customers, understanding their challenges, and ensuring effective communication between the engineering team and customers.
- Technical Expertise : Use Skyworks product and customer architecture expertise to drive design wins. Maintain a deep understanding of the semiconductor industry, market trends, and emerging technologies.
- Project Management : Oversee multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery, effective resource allocation, and adherence to quality standards.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Collaborate with internal teams, including business units and marketing, to drive product development ensuring Skyworks roadmaps meet or exceed customer needs.
- Performance Monitoring and Evaluation : Establish performance metrics, monitor individual and team performance, provide regular feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Required Experience and Skills
The typical base pay range for this role across the $112,500 - $215,900 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick / wellness, parental leave), among others. Employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan, and certain roles are also eligible for additional awards, including recognition and stock. These incentives and awards are based on individual and / or company performance.
Salary : $112,500 - $215,900
