What are the responsibilities and job description for the P6 Construction Scheduler position at SL Recruit?
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining all levels of schedules from proposals phase through the life cycle of design, procurement, preconstruction, and construction phases. Candidate should have the experience and or ability to coordinate with architects, engineers, clients, and subcontractors to create project schedules in an effective manner. The Project Scheduler must be a flexible and adaptable team-player, as well as have strong communication and client service skills.
Responsibilities :
- Create / develop Critical Path Methodology (CPM) schedule and fully resource loaded.
- Perform schedule updates and maintenance functions as required by client’s contract.
- Review third-party / subcontractors construction schedules and provide review comments.
- Provide project schedule narrative report and associated schedule supporting reports as required by client or schedule specification.
- Create schedule reporting documents to communicate project execution sequencing and / or progress assessments.
- Develop practical and logic driven CPM schedule from construction drawing and documents.
- Understand principles of cost estimating and productivity in establishing schedule parameters (duration and resource loading, etc.).
- Effectively communicate project schedule status in project meetings, presentation, or preconstruction briefing.
