Summary
We are seeking an experienced Regional Manager of Property Management for a well-known real estate developer and investor in Washington, DC. The Regional Manager oversees the strategic, financial, and operational performance of a portfolio of office, industrial, and mixed-use properties. This leadership role supports Property Managers in operations, tenant relations, financials, and maintenance, ensuring alignment with the firm's objectives. The RM drives operational excellence, compliance, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Management & Strategy: Lead regional strategies to optimize asset performance, increase revenue, and improve operational efficiencies. Support Property Managers with standard operating procedures and tenant engagement.
- Financial Performance & Budgeting: Oversee property budgets, analyze financial statements, and guide revenue enhancement strategies and capital planning. Ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Tenant Relations & Lease Administration: Manage tenant concerns, ensure lease compliance, and lead lease administration. Align leasing strategies with portfolio goals.
- Maintenance & Engineering Support: Guide Property Managers on building maintenance, preventive programs, and vendor management. Assist in long-term capital improvement planning.
- Team Leadership & Development: Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management for Property Managers and staff. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure regulatory compliance, risk management, and safety protocols across all properties. Collaborate with legal teams to mitigate risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
- 7 years in commercial property management, with at least 3 years in a regional leadership role.
- Industry certifications (CPM, RPA) preferred.
- Strong financial, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in property management software (Yardi, MRI) and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with mixed-use and industrial assets a plus.
Salary : $160,000 - $180,000
