The Associate will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining the quality and presentation of our products.
Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner.
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately, utilizing retail math skills as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café/restaurant area, including dining spaces and food preparation areas.
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring high-quality presentation.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours, demonstrating effective time management skills.
- Adhere to all food handling regulations and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for order processing and tracking sales.
Skills
- Previous experience in a café, restaurant, grocery store, or quick-service fast food restaurant is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations within the food industry.
- Proficiency in retail math for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
