Job Summary:
As a Floral Administrator at SLA Worldwide, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our floral department. You will manage inventory, coordinate floral arrangements, and ensure exceptional customer service while supporting the overall administrative functions of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of floral products, supplies, and equipment, ensuring optimal stock levels and freshness.
- Order Processing: Handle incoming orders for floral arrangements, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, taking orders, and offering floral design recommendations.
- Vendor Relations: Communicate with suppliers and vendors to source high-quality flowers and supplies, negotiating pricing and delivery schedules as needed.
- Administration: Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, invoicing, and maintaining records of sales and inventory.
- Event Support: Assist in coordinating floral arrangements for events, weddings, and special occasions, ensuring timely setup and delivery.
- Marketing Support: Contribute to marketing efforts by promoting floral services through social media, email campaigns, and in-store displays.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in floral design, retail, or a related field; prior administrative experience preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Horticulture, Floral Design, or Business Administration is a plus.
- Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective customer interaction and team collaboration.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
