Job Summary:
As a Food and Beverage Buyer at SLA Worldwide, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing high-quality food and beverage products to meet the needs of our operations. Your role will involve negotiating with suppliers, managing inventory levels, and ensuring that all purchases comply with company standards for quality, cost, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers and vendors to secure the best quality products at competitive prices.
- Purchasing: Execute purchase orders for food and beverage items, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with specifications.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and manage stock to prevent shortages and minimize waste, using inventory management systems and forecasting techniques.
- Cost Analysis: Analyze market trends, pricing, and product availability to make informed purchasing decisions and negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all food and beverage products meet the company’s quality and safety standards before acceptance and delivery.
- Collaboration: Work closely with chefs, kitchen managers, and other stakeholders to understand product needs and preferences, aligning purchasing strategies accordingly.
- Sustainability Practices: Promote sustainable sourcing practices and maintain awareness of ethical sourcing guidelines within the food and beverage industry.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory, and supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 year in a purchasing or procurement role within the food and beverage industry.

- Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and market research to make informed purchasing decisions.
