Retail Sales Manager

Position Summary:

SLA Worldwide is seeking a full-time, experienced Retail Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our women empowerment store, 1920 Merch Co, located in Union Station in DC. Ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience as Retail Manager in speciality apparel or mixed goods.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years experience as a Specialty Retail Manager, preferably in apparel.

• Ability to manage and lead a team of associates
• Ability to build relationships with customers and other staff
• Excellent math skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Must be able to work under pressure under tight deadlines under all circumstances
• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and other staff members
• Must be able to follow instructions and understand verbal directions
• Must be able to follow all company policies and procedures including safety procedures and quality standards

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily retail operations, ensuring efficient inventory management and stock replenishment.
• Supervise and train sales staff to enhance customer service and sales performance.
• Manage cash register operations and ensure accurate financial transactions.
• Implement effective merchandising strategies to drive sales and improve store appearance.
• Conduct regular assessments of team performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Foster a positive shopping environment through excellent customer engagement and support.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
