As a Helper/Apprentice Glazier, you'll assist in the installation and repair of a wide variety of glass applications, everything from storefronts to shower enclosures. You'll have the opportunity to learn alongside seasoned professionals, gaining the technical skills needed to become a Lead Journeyman within 24-36 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help with handling and installing glass, mirrors, windows, and other glazing materials.
• Follow product installation instructions and building plans to install and troubleshoot construction projects on-site.
• Fabricate, cut, and load/unload glass; operate power tools and equipment.
• Understand and assist with simpler glazing projects under the supervision of Lead Glaziers.
• Attend daily project meetings, prepare materials, and assist the team in executing tasks efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain cleanliness at all work sites.
• Help ensure quality control and work towards minimizing customer complaints.
• Actively learn the tools of the trade and invest in building your personal toolset.

Qualifications:

• 1 to 2 years of glazing installation or related construction experience (preferred but not required).
• Ability to measure, cut, and install glass, windows, and mirrors. Basic understanding of safety protocols in construction.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with teammates and clients.
• A valid driver's license with no more than one moving violation per year.
• Punctual, dependable, and committed to learning the glazing trade.
• A High school diploma or equivalent is required.
