Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. This role is crucial for the smooth operation of our financial processes and will involve working closely with other departments to support overall business objectives.
Duties
- Enter daily transactions in Quickbooks
- Process payroll
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Conduct account reconciliations, including bank reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, including general ledger reconciliation.
- Collaborate with clients to resolve discrepancies and improve accounting processes.
Skills
- Proficiency in double entry bookkeeping and general ledger accounting.
- Experience with Quickbooks
- Ability to perform balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with clients.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $24.77 - $26.15 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
