Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position at the Senior Consultant level the base salary pay range is $110,000 to $171,000. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.

What You’ll Do
- Execute cybersecurity consulting engagements, delivering strategic and technical solutions across areas such as risk assessments, compliance, security operations, cloud security, and identity & access management. Example engagements include:
- Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies, policies, processes, and procedures including architecture reviews & providing recommendations
- Conduct cybersecurity assessments and risk analysis.
- Perform identity and access management (IAM) assessments and generate maturity roadmaps.
- Support clients in vulnerability mgmt. program development & remediation.
- Assist in compliance efforts for regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, HIPPA, GDPR).
- Conduct business impact assessments (BIA) and develop business continuity and disaster recovery plans (BC/DR).
- Collaborate with clients to assess security posture, identify gaps, and develop actionable roadmaps to improve cyber resilience.
- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Build relationships with client stakeholders & work collaboratively across Slalom functions / teams.
- Mentor Slalom project team members or client team members in areas of expertise.
- Provide and solicit timely feedback (both positive and corrective) in order to drive successful project outcomes
- (Optional) Support pre-sales efforts, including developing proposals, defining project scope, and contributing to cybersecurity solution offerings.
- Understanding of key cybersecurity domains, including GRC, Cloud Security, IAM, and/ or Cyber Resilience (e.g., Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, SRE, Incident Response and Vulnerability Management).
- Familiarity with industry frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53, CSF, ISO 27001, PCI DSS) and common top security technologies.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business terms and vice versa.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and operating within a matrixed organization.
- History of continuous learning and technical expertise within 2-3 domains within the Cybersecurity space.
- At minimum, 4 years of experience in cybersecurity consulting or delivery roles with a focus on client-facing engagements.
- Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information systems, business administration, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP, PMP) are highly desirable.
- Client delivery experience with a focus in Cybersecurity. Domain experience could include: GRC, Cloud Security, IAM, and/or Cyber Resilience (e.g., Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, SRE, Incident Response and Vulnerability Management).
- Strong interpersonal skills and comfort working both independently and with cross-functional teams.
