Job Title: Data and Reporting Analyst
Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data and Reporting Analyst to play a crucial role in ensuring accurate reporting, efficient data access, and informed decision-making within the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in report development, data warehouse management, and SQL-based ETL processes.
Responsibilities:
- SSRS Report Development: Create and maintain SSRS reports using Microsoft Reporting Services (SSRS) from various data sources and relational databases.
- Power BI Report Development: Design and build interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, along with designing data models that support business requirements effectively.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand reporting and data analysis needs.
- Data Warehouse Management: Modify, create, and optimize ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), T-SQL, and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
- Design data extraction and import programs using SSIS to enhance data flow.
- Develop complex SQL statements, including stored procedures, triggers, views, and functions.
- Understand and maintain data models and relationships within the data warehouse.
- Utilize views for enhanced security, encapsulating business logic, and simplifying queries.
- Work cross-functionally with network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to ensure cohesive and accurate reporting solutions.
- Ensure a thorough and accurate understanding of business requirements for reporting and data analysis.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years of experience with data management, analysis, and reporting.
- Strong experience in SQL Server Report Development and Management.
- At least three years of experience with SQL for ETL, DDL, and DML.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Desired skills include proficiency with SQL, SSIS, and familiarity with financial analysis principles.
- Experience with ZPL (Zebra Programming Language) modifications is a plus.
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
