We’re looking for an experienced and talented Lead Stager/Design Stylist to join our team and play a key role in our mission to transform homes and exceed client expectations.
Job Overview:
The Lead Stager/ Design Stylist will oversee and execute the staging process for residential properties, ensuring the highest level of quality and creativity in every project. This role requires a strong eye for design, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead a team. You will work closely with clients, our design team, and movers to bring each staging vision to life. You must have experience pulling together entire staging projects independently.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Manage and lead the staging team in the execution of staging projects.
- Design Execution: Create cohesive and stylish staging plans tailored to each property’s unique features and target audience.
- Client Interaction: Conduct on-site consultations with clients to understand their preferences and goals, maintaining clear communication throughout the staging process.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and guide staging assistants and movers to execute design plans efficiently and effectively.
- Inventory Coordination: Select, source, and coordinate furniture, accessories, artwork and décor items from our inventory or external sources to create cohesive designs.
- Quality Control: Ensure every staging project meets Slate Staging and Design’s high standards of quality and creativity.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any challenges that arise during the staging process.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate logistics and installation of staging elements in various properties.
- De-Staging Oversight: Participate/oversee the de-staging process with attention to detail and efficiency.
- Site Visits: Conduct site visits to capture photographs, videos, and measurements for upcoming projects.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the Creative Director and Design Team to stay updated on design trends and market demands.
- Maintenance: Maintain inventory and ensure all staging items are in excellent condition.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Lead Designer or Lead Stager at another staging company.
- Proven experience in home staging, with a portfolio showcasing successful projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of interior design principles and trends.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Experience with using Stageforce inventory system is a huge plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a good eye for design aesthetics.
- Physical ability to lift and move furniture.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as needed.
