The team based out of Bangalore works on cutting edge technologies leveraging Generative AI, BIM, big data, analytics and sophisticated real time technologies to empower path breaking solutions in this space.
The Role
Exciting career opportunity in a Worldwide Engineering Organization, in designing and implementing a new generation of products and solutions that are transformational in nature. In this position, you will play a key role in designing and building a state-of-the- art Dev ops pipeline, system monitoring, Security Management and Infrastructure monitoring. Unique opportunity to work with some of the smartest minds in this space and create smart solutions from the ground up.
Core Responsibilities
In this position, you will have a unique opportunity to design, direct and help implement and manage a SASS Enterprise Data Warehouse Platform. You will manage the cloud infrastructure, build and manage data pipelines, focus on HA, performance, scalability security and reliability of the system, automate CI/CD deployment and manage multiple environments at scale.
- Design, develop and operate large-scale data pipelines and services that meet goals of low latency, high availability, resiliency, security, and quality for and enterprise data warehouse
- Proficiency with Lambda / Kappa architectural patters to design and operate the SASS platform
- Strong AWS expertise, Containerization, Kubernetes clustering, Jenkins and scripting is a MUST
- Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
- Automate schema updates/migration via common pipelines and pattern to be used by application teams in their deployment processes
- Define best practices, work with data engineering teams on best practices and ensure they are followed
Skills and Experience
- 8 years of relevant work experience surrounding CI/CD, Automation, and Data Infrastructure Operations
- Demonstrated ability to manage and optimize AWS environments that support Polyglot persistence
- Expertise in industry standard solutions, e.g., Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins programming, and scripting knowledge, e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash
- Expertise developing advanced CI/CD pipelines (dynamic data pipelines, automated testing, performance testing, etc.)
- Experience working on large scale ETL/ELT, APIs and Cloud Data Warehouses
- Experience with System Security, Penetration tests and application security is a MAJOR PLUS
- Familiarity with software configuration management systems and source code version control systems
- Good technical understanding of large-scale server and cloud infrastructures
- Experience in writing and troubleshooting ETL/ELT jobs and complex database scripts
- Develop monitors and build alerts around error conditions and performance
- Passion for developing robust software and writing maintainable code
- Proven ability to work in a fast paced, highly responsive agile team with rapidly evolving requirements and architectures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Qualification
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related fields
