What are the responsibilities and job description for the Long-Term Substitute Benson Village School position at Slate Valley Unified School District?
Benson Village School, part of the Slate Valley School District, in Benson, Vermont is seeking a long-term substitute for 3rd grade starting August 22nd through September 19th. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of and appreciation for working with students at the elementary level and will be able to perform these responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in core subjects
- Follow PBIS routines around behaviors and expectations
- Use systems for attendance, student record keeping and lesson planning
- Collaborate with staff to maintain a positive learning environment
- Communicate with families to support student success
