Slate is a new US Electric Vehicle company transforming the battery electric vehicle space.
Who we are looking for : We are seeking a motivated and experienced Industrial Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in optimizing and streamlining manufacturing processes within the Body in White department, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and excellence in our new vehicle's production.
Central Midwest location in a highly desirable mid-size community. Must be willing to relocate to Slate manufacturing plant location.

- Utilize statistical methods to analyze production data and identify areas for improvement in quality, throughput, and resource utilization.
- Work closely with the product engineering team to integrate new technologies and automation solutions for process improvement.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source equipment, tools, and materials that align with process optimization goals.
- Provide support for capacity planning, production scheduling, and inventory management.
