What are the responsibilities and job description for the Attorney Recruiting/Entry Level Paralegal position at Slater Matsil, LLP?
We are seeking a self-starter, take charge individual to handle critical general office functions and entry level paralegal functions. Many Firm employees are currently working remotely or in a hybrid arrangement. Therefore, we are seeking a mature, dependable individual to work onsite and be the "go to" to keep the office functioning smoothly. This is a career growth opportunity for a responsible, initiative-oriented individual. Routine tasks include but are not limited to :
- Assist Hiring Partner and other attorneys with the attorney recruiting process
- Paralegal duties; responsibility for assigned paralegal duties and provide paralegal overflow assistance as needed
- CLE registration for attorneys’ meetings
- Social Media updates – Facebook / LinkedIn and marketing assistance
- Administrative duties, including but not limited to assisting Director of Administration with office services, human resources, etc.
- Light telephone duty (7-10 calls per day)
- Other challenging tasks as requested
Requirements :
Minimum of two years' college required; Bachelor's degree preferred
Two years' experience working in a law or other professional office preferred
