What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Equipment Service Technician position at Slaymaker Rentals?
We are looking for an experienced mechanic/technician with a strong background in heavy equipment maintenance and repair to join Slaymaker Rentals' team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair a diverse fleet of rental equipment, including boom lifts, scissor lifts, construction forklifts, and other heavy machinery.
- Analyze electrical and hydraulic schematics to ensure accurate and timely repairs.
- Collaborate with other technicians to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Provide support in troubleshooting and resolving issues with various types of lifts and equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with electrical systems, CANBUS systems, hydraulics, and general diagnosis and repair.
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service lifts and other equipment.
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
