Opportunity Summary:
Join SLC Interiors, a boutique residential interior design studio based on Boston's historic North Shore, as a senior-level interior designer.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional results for our clients through refined client presentations, comprehensive design schemes, collaboration with contractors and vendors, and project management.
Responsibilities:
- Develop refined client presentations using digital & hand-rendering techniques, drafting, mockups & scaled models
- Create comprehensive design schemes & FFE specification packages
- Collaborate with contractors and vendors to ensure project goals and quality standards are met
- Manage project timelines, budgets and installation
- Quote, propose, purchase & track high-ticket products
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 6 years of high-end, residential interior design experience
- In-depth knowledge of designing, detailing, quoting, and procurement of custom furnishings
- Demonstrated proficiency using: AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Ability to easily travel locally and out of state as needed, including: project sites, vendor visits, manufacturer showrooms, procurement trips, antique/trade shows & auctions
- A professional demeanor, strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail are required
