Summary of Position:
The Production Specialist is responsible for the planning, filming, editing, and management of photo and video content for both our internal projects and our clients. This role is essential to ensuring the production of high-quality, engaging video content that aligns with brand goals and client needs. The ideal candidate will be proficient in video post-production, have a solid understanding of production and pre-production processes, and demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills. They will play a key role in managing the creative workflow, collaborating with the team, and ensuring timely delivery of polished content.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with advanced skills in Premiere Pro. Bonus if skilled in Adobe After Effects.
- Experience with MAC operating systems and general file management.
- Strong knowledge of video post-production workflows, including color grading, sound design, and motion graphics.
- Understanding of video production equipment, including Sony mirrorless cameras (preferred, not required).
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
- Experience planning and executing a variety of video projects.
- Integrity, reliability, and a commitment to accountability.
Responsibilities:
- Post-Production: Edit raw video footage to create polished, engaging final products, ensuring alignment with creative goals and brand standards. Tasks include color correction, sound design, and incorporating motion graphics when necessary. (Anticipated portion of job duties: 60%)
- Production: Assist with on-site filming, including setting up equipment, operating cameras, and capturing high-quality footage. (Anticipated portion of job duties: 20%)
- Pre-Production: Collaborate on the planning and organization of video projects, including storyboarding, scripting, and scheduling. (Anticipated portion of job duties: 10%)
- Internal/Other Tasks: Maintain organized file structures for all video assets, support team members with technical troubleshooting, and identify opportunities to improve video workflows and processes. (Anticipated portion of job duties: 10%)
