Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and common areas. This role is crucial in providing a welcoming environment for guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their stay. A strong background in hospitality and cleaning practices will be beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Change bed linens and towels according to established protocols.
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and public areas as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as directed by housekeeping management.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles preferred, particularly in hotel or hospitality settings.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and industrial cleaning equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Knowledge of housekeeping management practices is advantageous but not required.
