Laundry Attendant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our hotel environment, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

Duties

• Operate washing machines and dryers to launder hotel linens and guest clothing.
• Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry according to established procedures.
• Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed for delicate fabrics or special requests.
• Inspect items for stains or damages before and after laundering.
• Maintain cleanliness in the laundry area by regularly cleaning machines and workspaces.
• Ensure that all laundry supplies are stocked and organized.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling laundry chemicals and equipment.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and quality.
• Experience with laundering techniques, including dry cleaning processes.
• Ability to operate laundry machinery effectively and safely.
• Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is a plus but not required.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
