Housekeeping and Laundry Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and common areas, as well as managing laundry services to ensure all linens are clean and prepaired in a timely manner. Your commitment to high standards of cleanliness will contribute significantly to our guests' experience.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Launder linens, towels, and other items using appropriate washing techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and stored properly.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing all duties.

Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services preferred, especially within a hotel environment.
• Knowledge of proper laundering techniques and dry cleaning processes is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Must be physically capable of performing the duties required, including lifting and moving items as necessary.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.70 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
