Job Summary:
Sleep Inn Kelso is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team for the swing shift (3 PM to 11 PM)on weekends. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable, enjoyable, and memorable. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere and assisting guests with their needs during the evening hours. Strong multitasking skills are crucial in this fast-paced environment, where you will handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Services:
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Check guests in and out efficiently, following hotel procedures.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Reservations and Billing:
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
- Process payments and ensure accurate billing.
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date front desk area, including reservations and billing records.
- Communication and Coordination:
- Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to address guest needs.
- Relay important information and updates to incoming shift staff.
- Security and Safety:
- Monitor and report any suspicious activities or security concerns.
- Ensure compliance with hotel safety policies and procedures.
- Administrative Duties:
- Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area.
- Prepare daily reports and complete end-of-shift tasks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or related field is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional multitasking abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently and simultaneously.
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
- Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Previous experience in a customer service or front desk role, preferably in the hospitality industry is a definate plus but not necessary.
Skills and Abilities:
