Our Maintenance performs a variety of maintenance and repair tasks in order to keep the hotel in compliance with the company and governments standards for functionality, cleanliness, safety, and security.

Punctual and a self-motivator and self-starter, as well as excellent communication and organization skills.
Works well with guests and employees, a friendly disposition, and an ability to work long strenuous hours under pressure, must be able to lift 100 pounds.
Give 100% focus on the job and make the most of your days off, light plumbing and electrical knowledge, pool maintenance, drywall, painting, and basic carpentry skills, tv programming, and basic computer knowledge.
Basic landscaping skills, cleaning skills, light mechanical knowledge, operate various power tools, knowledge of security measures, and a current drivers license with a good driving record.
Education Required: High school diploma or GED.
Requirements:
Ensure all preventative maintenance is completed, daily swimming pool maintenance ( cleaning, chemicals balancing, maintain daily chart, plumbing and repairs)
Daily trash barrel changing, picking up trash and sweeping the parking lot, cleaning cigarette butts up and keep ash trays clean.
Make daily rounds of hotel to check for any issues, ETC. Communicate with employees, managers, vendors, and hotel guest professionally and politely.
Complete maintenance work orders constantly presented by the front desk guest, housekeeping, and management in a timely manner.
Put away new supplies, lock repairs on both hard-key doors and keycard systems. Repair electrical outlets, switches, small motors, outdoor lights, and lighting ballasts.
Troubleshoot clogged pipes and toilets, repair faucets, showerheads, and toilets, door and windows lock repair.
Basic furniture repair, wood chairs, headboards, bed frames, lamps, curtain rods, painting, wall paper, and sheet repairs.
Trouble shooting telephone systems, TV's , remotes and movie systems.
Use hotels database to determine vacant rooms, trouble shoot internet problems. Maintain entire fleet of housekeeping and kitchen vacuums on a scheduled basis.
Makes trips as needed (should not be frequent) to various stores for maintenance supplies in a efficient manner, clear purchases with the General Manager.
Assist housekeeping in keeping laundry stock rooms full of supplies for housekeeping use. Frequently use blower, brooms, and pressure washer to keep outside looking fresh and clean all the time.
Pull weeds, and use weed killer properly, repair and monitor sprinkler systems and timers. Repair or replace air conditioning thermostats, replace air conditioning units.
Drive and maintain company van, operate carpet cleaning, assist with remodel, renovation, and construction projects.
Constantly learn new things and respond to special requests by management, other tasks deemed necessary by management.
Adhere to the policies and procedures in the company policy handbook.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
