What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weekend Housekeeper position at Sleep Inn/Mainstay Suites?
Housekeeper
Must be able to work weekend Friday, Saturday, and Sunday is what were looking for. The hours are 9am to 5pm or until all your rooms are cleaned. Some one who can help out in laundry and breakfast as we are a team. Also must be able to clean 2 rooms per hour or in a 8 hours shift complete 12 to 14 room board! Reliability with high cleaning standards are what we are looking for in hiring for out Housekeeping positions!
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other common areas
- Make beds and change linens
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products
- Empty trash and dispose of waste properly
- Follow established safety procedures and guidelines
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
Experience:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and best practices
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Skills:
- Clean: Proficient in cleaning techniques for different surfaces and materials
- Customer service: Ability to provide excellent customer service to residents or guests
- Floor care: Knowledge of floor care techniques including mopping, waxing, and polishing
- Housekeeping management: Experience in managing housekeeping operations (if applicable)
- Hotel: Familiarity with hotel housekeeping standards and procedures (if applicable)
- Custodial: Understanding of custodial duties and responsibilities (if applicable)
- Commercial cleaning: Experience in commercial cleaning settings (if applicable)
- Sanitate: Knowledge of proper sanitation practices to maintain cleanliness and hygiene
- Carpet cleaning: Familiarity with carpet cleaning techniques and equipment
