Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and orderly environment in various settings including hotels, commercial spaces, and residential homes. This role requires a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure all rooms are properly stocked with necessary supplies and amenities.
- Conduct floor care duties such as sweeping, waxing, and polishing floors as needed.
- Manage laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and garments.
- Prepare light meals or snacks when required, adhering to dietary guidelines if applicable.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Maintain housekeeping equipment and supplies in good working condition.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, commercial cleaning, or residential cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping management practices and standards.
- Ability to clean and sanitize various surfaces effectively using appropriate cleaning products.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is an advantage.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
