What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry Attendant position at Sleep Inn & Suites?
The LAUNDRY ATTENDANT position consists of the following:
- Stripping rooms of towels and linens.
- Washing and folding linens and terry on appropriate cycles and preparing the laundry carts for the next day.
- Handling chemicals and detergents used for sanitation and stain removal.
- Keeping track of check-outs with the help of the Front Desk.
- Reporting linen and terry damages to Executive Housekeeper and/or manager.
- Pushing/Pulling laundry carts up to 45 pounds.
- Any other tasks that the business may need.
Due to possible chemical exposure, candidates may be subject to drug screening and/or background checks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
