Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and common areas, as well as managing the laundering of linens and garments. Your commitment to providing exceptional service will contribute to the overall guest experience in our hotel environment.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards.
- Launder linens, towels, and other items using appropriate washing techniques.
- Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed for guests or hotel staff.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and report any shortages to management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in laundry facilities.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional supplies or assistance.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably in a hotel setting, is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean efficiently and effectively.
- Knowledge of laundering techniques, including dry cleaning processes is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must be able to lift and move heavy items as needed during cleaning and laundry processes.
