**Job Summary**
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in providing high-quality direct routine care to residents at Sleepy Eye Rehabilitation Center.
As an LPN, you will ensure that care is delivered in accordance with the Service Plan, Minnesota Board of Nursing standards, the Resident's Bill of Rights, and the campus Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement program.
- Develop and modify resident Plans of Care, implementing interventions delegated, ordered, or prescribed by the RN or physician.
- Collect and compare resident health data, reporting changes and responses to interventions to the RN in an ongoing manner.
- Assign and monitor nursing tasks or activities of unlicensed nursing staff through assessment of their knowledge, skill, and capabilities.
**Requirements**
To be successful as an LPN, you must have:
- Completion of a professional nursing education program approved by the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
- Current Minnesota License as a Practical Nurse.
- Current Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and emergency care.
