As a QA Tester, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring the reliability and accuracy of software solutions that support Medicaid services. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, and execute effective test cases to evaluate software functionality and performance.
- Collaborate with the project team to prioritize and resolve bugs or enhancements efficiently.
- Ensure alignment of software functionality with user requirements and established guidelines.
- Identify gaps between user applications and established standards, proposing modifications for optimal performance.
- Monitor software performance post-implementation to ensure efficiency and mitigate potential issues.
- Create comprehensive documentation for program evaluation, testing processes, and corrective measures.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience supporting Medicaid Eligibility (Tiers).
- Proven track record in software testing during advanced development stages to ensure reliability and accuracy.
- 7 years of expertise in documenting processes and test outcomes comprehensively.
- Deep understanding of state and local government Medicaid services, including program policies, practices, and business operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent extensive project experience.
- Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced, start-up environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with technical and non-technical audiences, stakeholders (State and Federal), and executive teams.
- Proficiency in: TFS (Team Foundation Server), Visual Studio, MS SQL 2019 / 2022, MS Office Suite (Excel, Word) and SharePoint
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Agile software development practices.
- Strong technical acumen for data extraction and generating ad-hoc reports.
- Familiarity with Microsoft testing tools and methodologies to assist the project test team
