Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dock Worker/ forklift driver to join our team in a fast-paced distribution center environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient loading and unloading of goods, maintaining the flow of materials, and supporting overall warehouse operations.

THIS IS A TEMPORARY POSITION BUT HAVE THE OPTION TO TRANSFER TO A DIFFERENT ACCOUNT. WILL HAVE MORE DETAILS DURING INTERVIEW.

Duties

• Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and manage materials effectively within the warehouse.
• Perform materials handling tasks, including sorting, stacking, and organizing products for storage or shipment.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized dock area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and adherence to warehouse management systems.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Follow safety protocols at all times to minimize risks associated with heavy equipment operation.

Requirements

MUST KNOW HOW TO DRIVE THE FORKLIFT

• Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with RF scanners
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety standards at all times.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
