Direct Support Professional / Personal Care Attendant
Full Job Description:
@Southwest Louisiana Independence Center is currently seeking a caregiver to work with an elderly female individual who lives in Delcambre. The Direct Support Professional is responsible for the physical care of our clients who may no longer be able to take care of themselves due to age, illness, injury, surgery, or disability.
The ideal candidate must be able to care for our clients and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect.

Qualifications:
1. Must be 18 years of age or older.
2. Valid Driver’s License & auto insurance
3. Working Cell Phone with Data Plan
4. Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report.
5. Commitment to excellent client care
6. Must have Patience, Compassion, Positive Attitude, and be a Team Player
Responsibilities:
1. Light Housekeeping
2. Transportation to doctor appointments
3. Assist with Shopping
4. Assist with Cooking
5. Assist with bathing / dressing
Pay:
Starting at $9.00 per hour
Schedule:
One week on and one week off. Shift starts on Wednesday to Tuesday. 9:30am-5:00 p.m.
*Opportunity for some overtime.
