FULL JOB DESCRIPTION:
@Southwest Louisiana Independence Center (@SLIC) is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSW) to provide care 8am to 11am (Mon - Thurs) and 8am to 12pm (Fri). This will be for a male with early-stage dementia, in the Lake Charles area.
The Direct Support Professional is responsible for the physical care of our clients who may no longer be able to take care of themselves due to age, illness, injury, surgery, or disability. The ideal candidate must be able to care for our clients and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must be 18 years of age or older.
2. Valid Driver’s License or Valid ID
3. Working Cell Phone with Data Plan (Must be able to download company apps)
4. Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report
5. Commitment to excellent client care
6. Must have Patience, Compassion, Positive Attitude, and be a Team Player

PAY:
$14.00 per hour
