The Opportunity

The VP, Implementation Operations is a critical role tasked with leading the design and execution of scalable, world-class implementation processes that includes hardware & software installations, delivering seamless product adoption, exceptional customer experience, and operational excellence for pizzeria owners embracing Slice's platform.

The Role

We are seeking a visionary and customer obsessed VP, Implementation Operations to lead and scale Slice's end-to-end process for hardware and software installations, product onboarding, training, and early lifecycle support. This strategic role requires a leader who obsesses about building incredible customer experiences, can build robust product implementation infrastructure for scale, manage a globally distributed team, all while optimizing for scale and efficiency. A key focus will be infusing a customer success mindset into every aspect of the implementation & installation process, ensuring that each deployment not only runs smoothly, but also fosters long-term satisfaction and success for our partners.

The Winning Recipe

Reporting to Slice's CXO- our VP, Implementation Operations will have :

• 10 years of experience managing complex hardware & software deployment projects, ideally in restaurant tech or a similar industry.
• Proven track record leading high-stakes implementations where flawless execution is essential to customer satisfaction.
• Built and led implementation teams at scale, involving large volumes and multi-faceted complexity (inside teams, field reps, and third-party installers).
• Strong technical background in hardware systems, installation processes, and troubleshooting methodologies, with direct experience overseeing deployments at scale.
• Proven ability to harmonize customer trust-building with operational efficiency and process improvement methodologies like Six Sigma.
• Exceptional people management skills, with experience hiring, motivating and developing high-performing, geographically distributed teams.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically while executing tactically.
• Strong project management abilities, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management, paired with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable navigating fast-paced, evolving environments with a focus on integrating new technologies and optimizing for future growth.

Salary Range : $200k to $250k bonus equity

The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
