Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwaser or Cook/Dishwasher to join our culinary team. This dual-role position is essential for maintaining the cleanliness of our kitchen and ensuring that high-quality meals are prepared for our guests. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and assembling ingredients.
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations.
- Support catering events by preparing food items as needed.
- Buss tables and assist in maintaining dining area cleanliness during service hours.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food.
- Participate in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.
Experience
- Previous experience in culinary roles or food service environments is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and safety standards is essential.
- Experience in catering or restaurant settings will be considered an asset.
- A strong ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail is crucial.
