Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team at our vibrant café. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing food and beverage orders. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to handle transactions accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders with a positive attitude.
• Accurately process cash and credit transactions using the point-of-sale system.
• Prepare food items according to café standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, kitchen, and cashier station.
• Assist customers with menu selections and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders.
• Adhere to all food safety and handling regulations to maintain a safe environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or retail environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
