Global oilfield services company is seeking to immediately hire Assembly Technicians.

- Position type: Contract-to-hire. Conversion to permanent employee is possible after 3-4 month initial period, depending on worker performance.
- Job Location: Mobile, AL
- Pay Rate: $20 per hour
- Work Schedule: 12 hour shifts
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and test complex mechanical assemblies, often to close tolerances.
- Ensure all work packages are processed in order, and equipment/parts are assembled according to specifications.
- Execute work as defined in the Work Order package.
- Continuously observe the umbilical process; monitors, signals, and equipment; and receive notification, by intercommunications, from control supervisor to make specified operating adjustments on such equipment as brakes, pumps, primary wheels, reels, compressors, water chillers, line speed, etc.
- Operate and control carousels/tensioners.
- Participate in all Closing, Extrusion and Load-out pre-meetings and assist with closing/bundling, extrusion, and load-out operations.
- Operate forklift and/or overhead crane.
- Become certified as an outer sheathing repairer.
Requirements:
- Must have at least 3 years of previous Manufacturing/Assembly experience
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Must live within driving distance of the Mobile AL area
- Must be available to interview in person at the designated time on Wednesday, April 30, 2025
- Must have an active driver license in good standing
- Must be comfortable working 12 hour shifts
- This company has a very comprehensive drug testing requirement.
