This is an onsite position with a Monday–Friday schedule.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Maintain the overall office environment with the goal of ensuring a positive work culture.
  • Manage all reception activities including the phone, visitors, and mail.
  • Coordinate resources to troubleshoot and determine the best solutions for all office related issues.
  • Oversee the selection of office vendors and purchase of office equipment and supplies.
  • Manage relationships with office vendors, service providers and property management; negotiate, execute and maintain related contracts.
  • Schedule and arrange maintenance services, coordinate office projects and other related operational activities.
  • Manage all travel needs for the company, including large events and conferences.
  • Serve as a member of the Slide Event committee; provide input on planned employee engagement events.
  • Manage office meetings and events to include sourcing of vendors, ordering supplies, and the physical set up and breakdown.
  • Closely manage the office access badge system to ensure a secure and safe workplace.
  • Manage and coordinate all Slide Suite activities.
  • Approve all invoices in relationship to office management/maintenance.
  • Track operational costs and monitor budget.
  • Provide leadership, training, and development for Front Office Assistant.
  • Develop and recommend procedures for office administrative activities.
  • Implement all approved procedural or process changes.
  • Notarize documents for the office, as needed.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

What You Already Have

Education, Experience, and Licensing:

  • High School diploma required.
  • 3 years’ experience in office administration including the management of company travel required.
  • 1 years' experience managing all functions of an office required.
  • Must be a Florida State Notary.
  • Experience with Concur preferred.
  • Experience in the Property and Casualty insurance industry preferred.

Qualifications/Skills And Competencies

  • Extensive knowledge of office administration, clerical procedures, and recordkeeping systems.
  • Highly resourceful and dedicated to assisting all Sliders with whatever is needed to ensure success.
  • Proven ability to be adaptable and flexible. Adjusting to new requirements or unforeseen issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software.
