Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the inspection of condominium buildings, parking garages, walkways, and other structures to assess structural integrity and compliance with regulations.
- Conduct site investigations to determine and document the causes of structural failures, damages, and defects, particularly in large-scale residential structures.
- Perform destructive testing to evaluate material performance and identify failure points.
- Develop detailed drawings and specifications for use in construction and remediation projects.
- Ensure all projects comply with applicable codes, regulations, and engineering best practices.
- Prepare comprehensive reports detailing findings and recommendations.
- Travel as required (approximately 50%) to various project sites.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in forensic structural engineering.
- Experience with structural inspections, failure analysis, and report writing.
- Knowledge of engineering codes and regulations related to large-scale residential buildings, particularly condominiums.
- Willingness to travel as required.
