Summary
We are seeking a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth office operations and providing excellent customer service, contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality sliding door repair services.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling a variety of tasks in a busy office environment, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, dispatching jobs, and managing technicians’ schedules. Key Responsibilities:
- Answer Phone Calls: Handle a high volume of incoming calls in a professional and friendly manner.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers, including managing difficult or upset customers with professionalism and empathy.
- Scheduling: Schedule appointments and dispatch jobs to technicians, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
- Technician Coordination: Manage and adjust technicians’ schedules as needed to accommodate customer needs and job requirements.
- Data Entry: Accurately enter customer and job information into the company system.
- Administrative Support: Assist with miscellaneous tasks and projects as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team, following directions and supporting colleagues to achieve company goals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in office management or administrative roles.
- Strong computer literacy, particularly with Google Suite applications.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Bilingual abilities are preferred to assist diverse clientele.
- Strong proofreading skills to ensure accuracy in communications.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent Phone Etiquette: Comfortable talking to customers on the phone.
- Strong Customer Service Skills: Ability to handle customer complaints and inquiries professionally.
- Organizational Skills: Capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively.
- Data Entry and Typing Skills: Fast and accurate typing for data entry tasks.
- Dependability: Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to coming to work on time every day.
- Team Player: Willing to collaborate and support team members as needed.
- Attention to Detail: Follows directions carefully and ensures accuracy in tasks.

Benefits:
- Paid Time Off (PTO): 5 days per year after 6 months
