What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Clerk position at Slifco Electric?
Office Clerk
- Schedule Monday- Saturday (6-day work week)
- Shift Time- 6:30am to 3:30pm (1 hour lunch)
- Overtime Available after 40 hours
Duties:
- Perform general office duties, such as answering phones, taking messages, and responding to emails
- Assist with order entry and maintaining inventory records
- Provide clerical support to the office staff and management team
- Assist with scheduling, travel arrangements, and other administrative tasks
- Assist with event planning and coordination
- Other office tasks as needed.
Skills:
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Proficient in using office equipment such as computers, printers, and scanners
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in using Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Office setting experience - 3 years
- AP or AR experience/ any billing experience
- Outlook
- Intermediate excel skills (workbooks formulas)
- Willing to help out on various office tasks when needed.
- Data entry experience
