Job Title : UI / UX design / Frontend Developer

Location : Chicago, IL (Remote) - This is a remote position, but client prefers candidates local to Chicago

Duration : 6 to 12 Months

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education :

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Graphics / Web Development, Computer Science, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent certifications.

  • Experience :

    • At least three years of relevant front-end development experience, with a strong focus on translating design to code.

  • Technical Skills :

    • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks with an emphasis on responsive, mobile-first UI / UX design.

  • Strong skills in Figma for component library management and high-fidelity design implementation.
  • Experience with CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS and modern JavaScript libraries (React, Vue, or Angular).
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG, ADA) and best practices in inclusive design.
  • Familiarity with form tools like Gravity Forms and experience with image library management.
  • Experience with version control (Git) and code optimization practices for cross-browser compatibility.
  • Basic PHP knowledge and experience with WordPress development is a plus.
  • Soft Skills :

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative, culturally diverse environment.
