PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Slim Chickens is looking for an experienced Brand Marketing Manager to own the promotional calendar and bring even more brand swagger to one of the hottest brands in the restaurant industry. As our Manager of Brand Marketing, you'll be the captain of our brand storytelling ship. You’ll craft and execute innovative marketing strategies that make our brand stand out, turn heads, and win hearts. Collaboration is the name of the game—you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our brand message sings in perfect harmony across all channels.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Strategizing like a boss: Develop and lead branding initiatives that align with our big-picture goals and come to life on paid, owned, and earned media.
- Creating magic: Oversee the development of creative campaigns that resonate with our audience and elevate our brand. You’ll know the branding ins and outs of every platform from connected TV to push notifications to billboards and everything in between.
- Data Whispering: Analyze campaign performance and fine-tune strategies for maximum impact.
- Teamwork vibes: Partner with internal teams and external agencies to bring the brand vision to life.
- Trendspotting: Stay ahead of industry trends and ensure we’re always one step ahead.

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the annual marketing planning process.
- Provide quarterly recommendations for the marketing calendar and oversee its development.
- Conduct consumer and competitive research to inform marketing strategies.
- Draft product briefs for Slim Chickens' calendar planning and testing.
- Analyze sales trends, menu mix, and other data to enhance campaign effectiveness in collaboration with the finance team.
- Monitor competitors to stay abreast of industry trends and product offerings.
- Oversee the execution of all product tests.
- Manage the creative development process to ensure alignment with brand strategy and flawless execution.
- Cultivate strong relationships with cross-functional partners.
- Maintain close relationships with franchisees, vendors, and manufacturers.
- Budget management, including processing invoices related to creative development.
- Manage and mentor the Brand Advertising Manager's professional development.
Slim Chickens systems principles and objectives: Has a thorough understanding of Slim Chickens' established operating systems (e.g., quality, security, office environment, company policies, safety) and recognizes the responsibility to stay updated on these systems and the role this position plays in supporting them.
Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives: This position description is designed to guide the activities of the Manager- Brand Marketing It is not meant to restrict the individual's creativity or limit their thinking, nor does it encompass all the tasks that may be required in this role.
Physical Activities: Primarily performed in an office environment. Involves entering and retrieving information on a computer and visually verifying details, often in small print. May also require presenting information to small or large groups.
Travel: Occasionally requires travel to multiple restaurants or work sites, which may include overnight stays. Travel can be domestic or international.

- Self-motivated, with the ability to work in teams and build good working relationships.

- Proficient with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics, etc.)
- Proficient with Microsoft 365
- Proficient with Smartsheet
Technical Experience: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Social analytics including Google & Meta, Ability to operate in Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising & communications, or relevant field plus equivalent level of job experience and a minimum of five years of applicable marketing experience at a management level.
